Review:

Okay, sooo, i played the orig OF and it was unreal fun for hours on end w/ the mission eddy the game was locked on my harddrive for years... Now comes OFDR, and first off out of the box lets start with install.
Setup was quick and easy, no comments. First looks as the intros loaded up was nice when the codemaster logo appeared. Menu, welll... hmm.. the menu was SICKKKK, best game menu i've seen in along time, music was a deep feeling of war like i just blew up a whole city, and that was the theme song for the aftermath.. so music at menu was great. Also the sounds from switching tabs and menus, also very very good. Menu backrounds sliding was nice too.

First steps in the game i found myself abit rusty, but within 20 mins it ALL came back, now i held myself off from playing ArmA and ArmA2 because i waited for this, so getting back into the loop of gameplay did take abit, but not long.
Graphics and gameplay where really smooth, ordering commands easy at the tips of my fingers, getting pass the first 3 missions took a few hours because i like to take my time and do the sec. missions also.

A.I was kinda sad, but not the worst!, team a.i is weak, but strong also depending on how you use them, for example, the mission ( i think 4th ) where you hold down the camp after you take it, and they come in from all sides, and what i did is place my man on each corner MG and held down the masses with snipe firing and protecting myself on a top level of barn with mines around me on the 1st floor incase troops get close to me ( and indeed they did, as two troops tried to climb the stairs to get me, they tripped the mines and blew off half the building! i was standing on the top half lookin down saying ( holy S**T )
- which brings me to another point, destorying buildings/fences/other objects is a big factor in winning a battle and losing, i've came around a building low while my team sat up on a hill watching a camp, and i had ( hold fire till my command set ) i sneak up to a building, enter it, see the guy on the other side of the wall ( building is wood/barn like) and take out my pistol and put two cells in the back of his head from within the building, as i fired my team opened up on some troops abit in front of him, and then i exit the building and flank them with ther backs to me, awwww it was siiiick and sweet combat and tactics.
So team a.i is kinda dumb (20% of the time) but if you use them right, you can be a elite team!

I haven't done mutiplayer yet, because im still enjoying the single player, but once i complete it, i know i will hit up the mission eddy, then from there we'll see..

Overall im very very happy with this game, very happy, i know it has its ugly spots, but a few mods of updates will ( i hope ) clean that up..

Btw, im new to this forum happy to be here, hello all!
